Oxygen Flowmeter: It is placed to the medical oxygen socket connected to the central gas system and is used to deliver oxygen to the patient by passing it through the humidifier through the nasal nozzle and mask.


What is the Oxygen Flowmeter used for?

The scale indicator and humidification jar are made of break-resistant polycarbonate material and can be sterilized at 134 ˚C.

Flowmeters are manufactured in DIN (German), BS (British), NF (French) standards.

Flowmeters are manufactured in accordance with EN ISO 7396-1: 2007, EN ISO 9170-1: 2008, EN ISO 15002: 2008 standards.

Since Oxygen Flowmeters carry risks because they deliver oxygen directly to the patient, it is important to carry out the necessary tests during the production processes and to produce them using high quality materials that are suitable for health.


Oxygen Flowmeter Technical Specification

• The body must be made of brass or aluminum material.

• The company name and gas name must be permanently written.

• The scale should be in the range of 0-15 lpm in 1 lpm increments. The scale tube and protection glass must be made of unbreakable polycarbonate material. There must be a manufacturer's logo on the back of the scale tube.

• The socket input jack must comply with BS EN737-1 standard. Jack length should be at least 12cm if used in intensive care units, and at least 8cm for patient bedheads and pendants.

• The flowmeter must have a filter to prevent any material that may come from the gas line.

• The humidifier bottle cap and the hose outlet end must be made of hard polycarbonate material and must be a whole.

• Humidifier bottle cap and flowmeter valve adjustment cap should be gray.

• The humidifier bottle is made of unbreakable polycarbonate material and must be 200 ml.

• There should be an O2 label with the company logo on the adjustment cover.

• There must be an emergency release valve on the humidifier bottle to prevent gas trapped.

• It must be resistant to +134C sterilization.

• The product must be guaranteed for at least 1 (one) year against manufacturing defects.

• The product must be of Turkish origin.

• The manufacturer must have ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485: 2016, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 certificates and the manufacturer must have TSE-Service Qualification Certificate and Medical Device Sales Authorization Certificate.

• The product must be CE Certified, there must be a silver label on the product indicating the manufacturer's details, the product barcode number and lot number must be included on this label. The approved organization code of the CE certificate should be written on the feeding bottle.

• The product, manufacturer and seller must be registered with UTS (Ministry of Health of Turtkiye).
